Hotel Arctic’s six Umiaq Suites have an imposing view of the sea and the icebergs. This is the finest we have to offer: Plenty of space, impressive views, and exquisite facilities. Features include 32″ Philips TV, Kloss radio with dock for iPhone/MP3, mini bar, café set with coffee and tea, and bathrobe. The suites are furnished with two-person leather sofas and armchairs.
The Umiaq Suites have either a king size double bed or two single beds. A child’s bed is available free of charge.
Bathrooms in the Umiaq Suites have a bathtub, shower stall and a bidet.
Three of our six Umiaq suites has a balcony.
These suites are situated in the Umiaq Wing, named after the Greenlandic name for the traditional women’s boat.
The Greenlandic artist Miki Jakobsen has decorated the suites with original photo art – all with the women’s boat as a theme. The rooms also have paintings by the local artist, Arne Reimer.
